A mutual aid initiative by
the Impact Skate Club
Youth Council

After helping to promote and contribute to the incredible Community Fridges initiative around Toronto, members of Impact Skate Club’s Youth Council came up with a way to help expand the reach, by building Foodbox: a community pantry just off of the Danforth.
A pantry is flexible in where it can be placed and there’s never been a greater need for it. With the pandemic raging and a lack of support for our unhoused and low-income neighbours, mutual aid and direct action is critical in ensuring the wellbeing of everyone in the city.
We need to band together now and always. Access to food in the pantry could be the difference between someone having a meal or not, paying rent or not, getting medicine or not. No one should go hungry, and with your help we can make a difference.
Foodbox is located at 7 Numbers restaurant (307 Danforth Ave, at Bowden St.). Bring down as many food items and other essentials as you can, and fill ‘er up. Support your city!
